Help it to take off with the Innovation Exchange
Innovation Exchange recently held two Festivals of Ideas:
• Independent Living – 30th April - London
• Excluded young people – 7th May - London

These events brought together third sector innovators, commissioners of public services and social investors to connect around opportunities for innovation and collaborate to take them forward.
Commissioners and social investors attended by invitation. Innovators secured invitations by responding to our call for ideas - any many of them blogged their ideas about excluded young people and independent living on the Innovation Exchange.
From feedback on the day and afterwards - and judging by the activity they have sparked - the Festivals of Ideas seem to have been a real success. The challenge for participants now - and anyone else - is to continue to develop their ideas, re-connecting and collaborating with contacts made at these events.
The next key milestone is 31st July, the last day on which third sector innovators can submit expressions of interest for participating in the Innovation Exchange Next Practice programme, supported by the NESTA Innovation Exchnage Fund.
